A wonderful start to the week!
Awake: 6:05 AM
Yoga: Started the day with Yoga Camp Day 19… morning yoga is such a nice way to start the day!
Prayers: Morning, evening and night prayers all done and listened to kirtan throughout the whole day… gurbani really does have a lot of power to keep a person happy. 🙂
Walk: Managed to squeeze in a morning and evening walk today. Mayhem is super happy. 15,631 steps! My legs feel… used and it feels really good!
Supplements: Took all my supplements. Yay.
Morning & Evening Skincare: Morning done. Evening will do after this blog post.
- Morning juice
- Brown rice with veggies and soy vadi
- Grapes and almonds
- Chocolate oatmeal for dinner
Work: 10:30-6 PM
Exercise: Managed to squeeze in a 30 minute nighttime bike ride… beautiful weather. Beautiful breeze.
Additional self-care: Visited a chiropractor for an adjustment.
Thoughts of the day:
- ‘The body is a kind of machine where the more you use it, the better it works. It becomes stronger. Faster. More productive. More efficient. And the person using their machine to it’s maximum capacity gets happiness as a reward. Happiness from the feeling of accomplishment. The feeling of not wasting any time. Time is very precious. Also, the more the machine is used, the less chances there are of it breaking down’ This is kind of what I came up with when going for my morning walk. Any thoughts?
- Today’s day was wonderful. I had a checklist of things I wanted to get done and I basically managed to get through it (aside from meditation, additional breath work, mindfulness, sleeping early). I learned it’s really true. Once you set your mind to something, you have the ability to make it happen. For the rest of the week – I want to use today as a base point and try to achieve similar productivity each day. Life really is what you make it.
